Teaching children at the Shikshan program completely changed how I see purpose. The joy on their faces when they read their first sentence is something no office can give you.

As a retired doctor, I felt my skills were going to waste. The Sadhrudh camps gave me a renewed sense of mission. These communities need us, and Mohatadevi makes it effortless to contribute.

I signed up for Sampark expecting to help elders, but they ended up teaching me resilience and wisdom I'd never find in any book. Volunteering here is the best decision I've made.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need prior experience to volunteer?
No prior NGO experience is needed. We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds and provide full orientation and training before you begin.
What is the minimum time commitment?
We have no strict minimum. Even a single-day event helps! For program-based volunteering (tutoring, senior care), we prefer a 4-week commitment so beneficiaries build familiarity with you.
Can I volunteer remotely?
Absolutely. We have several virtual roles including digital content creation, social media management, data analysis, online tutoring, and grant writing support.
Will I receive a certificate for my volunteer work?
Yes. Volunteers who complete at least 10 hours of service receive an official Certificate of Appreciation from Mohatadevi Foundation.
Is there an age restriction for volunteering?
Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age. Those under 18 require parental consent. There is no upper age limit.
How soon will I hear back after applying?
Our coordination team responds within 48 business hours with a welcome email and a link to schedule your orientation call.
