Sampark is an initiative focused on supporting senior citizens by promoting healthy ageing, improving access to care services, and strengthening social connections among older adults.
The program provides support through health awareness, community engagement, care assistance, and linkages to essential services, helping senior citizens maintain their dignity, independence, and overall well-being. Organizing regular geriatric medical checkups, free eye screenings with corrective cataract surgeries, mobility aid distribution, and vital chronic disease medicine management.
2. Home Companion Visits & Counseling
Mobilizing trained youth and community volunteers for regular home visits, recreational engagement, active listening, and emotional solace to eliminate loneliness.
3. Community Day-Care & Activity Hubs
Establishing neighborhood gathering spaces where seniors enjoy morning yoga, board games, newspaper readings, nutritious community lunches, and joyful storytelling circles.
4. Government Scheme & Care Linkages
Assisting elderly citizens in accessing government pension schemes, senior health cards, legal guidance, and emergency ambulance or elder helpline networks.
